Professor Yifeng Shen has served as our Independent Director and member of the audit committee since October 2008. He currently is Professor of Finance and doctoral tutor at Xiamen University, where he also serves as Dean of School of Management. Xiamen University. Previously, Professor Shen worked in Department of Finance and Banking at Xiamen University. Professor Shen was a visiting scholar at Concordia University, Canada, and the University of Oregon, USA. He was also a Fulbright Scholar at Cornell University. Professor Shen has served as consultant and independent director at several companies in Xiamen, for instance, he is independent director of Xiamen Farah Electronic Company. Professor Shen received his Ph.D. in Management from the Department of Accounting at Xiamen University and his MBA from Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Canada. He also holds a Bachelor of Economics from the Department of Finance at Xiamen University.
